Where are we?
Lleweni Parc Airfield, located near Denbigh in North Wales is the home of DriveAge10.
We are 10 minutes from the A55 expressway and approximately a 40 minute drive from the city of Chester.

What time do we need to arrive?
Normally 10 minutes prior to your activity start time, your booking confirmation will include details of your arrival time, location, specific instructions and our full contact details.
Do I have to stay on-site or can I drop off and collect my young driver?
You will be required to ‘sign on’ for your young driver and once this is complete you can choose to leave the site if you wish; please speak to your host for local information.
Is there a place I can watch from?
Unfortunately, our portacabin is temporarily unavailable, therefore please use your own vehicle for shelter from adverse weather.
Can I watch my young person driving?
You will be able to see some of the driving but due to the very large size of our driving centre, there will be times when the vehicle is out of sight.
What about Covid-19 and PPE?
We are continually reviewing the official guidance and implementing appropriate preventative measures as required. In the vehicle, the instructor will wear a medical-grade fabric face mask and the same is provided for the young driver, as we actively encourage use of PPE when in close proximity.
We require that young drivers wear clothing which covers the full length of arms and legs and that footwear is the closed style i.e. not open-style sandals.
We encourage you to make responsible decisions about other family members that may wish to attend as spectators, please follow current official recommendations about individuals that may be more at risk of Covid-19.
Can I sit in the car with my young driver?
Unfortunately, this is not possible at the present time.
Can I take photo’s?
You are permitted to take photographs of your own young driver, instructor and the vehicle. You are welcome to share your photographs online.
Can I take video?
Unfortunately, video from inside the vehicle is not permitted at this time.
Are refreshments available?
Unfortunately, we have temporarily withdrawn refreshments; this due to Covid-19.
You are welcome to bring your own refreshments – responsibility with litter is appreciated.
Are there toilets on-site?
We have a ‘portaloo’ facility at our site. Comprehensive cleaning takes place in-between every driving session.
Is the driving safe?
The training cars are fully dual controlled, maximum driving speed is 25mph. The driving instructors are licensed by the DVSA and have completed an enhanced DBS check. Our instructors are highly experienced.
Who are the staff?
Tim Witham is the principal trainer and is a fully qualified DVSA ADI (Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructors), qualified to a high level and CRB/DBS checked to enhanced level.
Full insurance comprising of: vehicle, public liability and public indemnity is included
Additional local staff are carefully selected, insured and trained to provide a top quality service.
Can I book for more than one person?
We are currently only operating the ‘Solo’ sessions in the road car. To book for more than one young person, you can book consecutive Solo sessions on the same day, which we can run ‘back to back’.
Can I book 4×4 Off Road or DriveSkills?
